The other week, my students made some awesome tiger lanterns for Seollal, Korean lunar new year. I got the activity from the awesome blog 4 Crazy Kings. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

By the way, I loved your post re: the Korean Grandmothers. I call my youngest Adjama (sp?) I know a weird nickname but she is seriously a 60 year old Korean Grandmother trapped in a 2 and a half year olds body. Let me tell you, she could make a grown man cry if she wanted to. One withering look. That is all it takes.
